The Oskar Patzelt Foundation’s “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” is considered one of the most important business awards in Germany. In 2025, more than 4,200 companies, banks and municipalities were nominated nationwide. In Bavaria alone, the award winners had to prevail against hundreds of competitors. The prize has been awarded since 1994 and honors companies that have distinguished themselves through innovation, economic strength, social commitment and sustainable action.
